Mobile mechanic in Riverview

Riverview is mostly driveways, and driveways suit mobile repair. If you live in Riverview Heights or out toward Bridgedale, any trip to a shop starts with crossing the Petitcodiac. Getting the work done at home skips that.

One less trip over the Gunningsville Bridge

Riverview sits across the river from Moncton and Dieppe, and there are two ways over: the Gunningsville Bridge onto Vaughan Harvey Boulevard, or the Route 114 crossing where the causeway used to be. Dropping a car at a Moncton shop means two crossings, a ride home, and doing it all again when it's ready.

For an oil service, filters, fluids or a brake job, we come to your driveway instead. You stay home, or you leave the keys and go to work.

Short commutes and tired batteries

A quick run from West Riverview or Findlay South to a job in Moncton isn't much of a drive. A short trip doesn't put back what a cold start takes out, and a car that only ever does short trips can run its battery down over a winter without anyone noticing until the morning it doesn't start.

If a boost gets you going and the car dies again a day later, don't just buy a battery. The old one might be fine and the alternator might not be. We test both in the driveway before anything gets replaced.

Buying a second car from a Riverview driveway

A lot of private sales happen right here, out of someone's driveway on a quiet street. We can meet you there, scan the car, check under the hood, look at the brakes and as much of the underside as we can see, and tell you plainly what we'd worry about.

It's not a provincial MVI. It's an independent look so you know what you're buying, and so a rusted brake line or a freshly cleared code doesn't become your problem the week after you pay.

Riverview questions

Can you work in my Riverview apartment or condo parking lot?

Usually, if the property allows it and there's room to work safely beside the car. Ask your property manager first, then tell us where the car is when you book. Underground garages depend on clearance and ventilation.

What if my car needs a hoist or a shop?

We take the vehicle into a shop and manage the repair through to the end. You get the price before the work goes ahead, and nobody makes you start again from scratch.

Do you cover the edges of town, like Lower Coverdale or Pine Glen?

Coverage is confirmed by postal code. Send us yours with the vehicle and the problem and we'll tell you straight away whether we can get to you.

Can you really do brakes in my driveway?

Most pad and rotor jobs, yes, on a reasonably flat driveway. If we find a seized caliper or a brake line rusted through, we'll tell you, and that part goes to a shop.
